Hi, I'd like to know whether Genhire is compatible with Windows XP. Many thanks.

The Genhire application doesn't appear to be available anymore which means that at this point, compatibility with Windows XP does not exist. The lack of data regarding the software suggests that it's a discontinued product or available only for certain customers or internally. I've used the developer's name to locate its address and I have found it, but there is no mention about Genhire.
Our Genhire is set up to run over a network. We no longer have a network. What settings do we need to change to run Genhire on stand alone PCs? Currently, the software is installed on network drive situated on the same PC.

Since there is no information about this software, I recommend on removing it from your computer and then re-installing it again. Upon re-install the application will work in standalone mode. If it doesn't need network configuration, then it will work as a simple application working in standalone mode like any other. Additionally, use Windows Explorer or My Computer to browse to the shared folder. Right click it and remove it from the network and that's it.

Yes, the genhire.exe program for Windows is still available to use.
To add another type of "status" in Genhire XE3, you need to go to the Stock/LkUps section in the software and add the new status.
